LIFE Groups
 We
have a number of LIFE Groups (LIFE = Living In
Fellowship & Evangelism) and they run
according to 'Cell' principles.
Our meetings together as a whole church
are important times of celebration and teaching. However
we will not achieve all that God plans for us in this context.
In smaller groups we have a tremendous opportunity to grow
as individuals and as a church family. These LIFE Groups
have the following principles as their foundation.

Jesus at
the centre
Jesus must be the centre and the focus as we meet because
only He has the power to change people.

Community
We seek to build relationships within the group based
on honesty and sacrificial love.

Every member
growing
Through relationship and discipleship each person matures
in their character and grows in their gifts and ministry.

Every member
contributing
Each person has gifts and a place in God's plan. The
Life Group is an ideal starting place for using those
gifts for the benefit of others.
- Multiplication
Among a group of friends there is a great opportunity
for demonstrating the good news of Jesus and seeing others
added to the church.
We encourage everyone to join a LIFE Group
and get involved. If you would like to join a LIFE
Group then please contact the LIFE Group Leaders.
The different LIFE Groups are:
Inter-generational Cells
Groups for all ages that fully involve both
adults and children.
Newport Inter-generational Cell
Steve and Claire lead the Newport Inter-generational
Cell.
They meet early on Thursday evenings.
Island Wide Inter-generational Cell
Peter and Sarah lead the Island Wide Inter-generational
Cell. The group meets in a number of different homes
around the Island. Please contact Peter or Sarah for
the next venue.
They meet on Friday evenings between 6:30pm and about 8:00pm.
Adult Cells
Chale and Rookley Cell
Keith and Pat lead the Chale and Rookley
Cell.
Merstone and Godshill

Niton Area
Richard and Hazel lead the Niton Area
Bible Study group.
Cowes Area
Rick & Angie lead the Cowes LIFE group,
starting at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings.
Ladies Cell
Audrey and Sandie lead the Ladies Cell.
They meet at the Church Centre (143a High Street, Newport)
on alternate Tuesdays, 10:15 for 10:30 am finish 12 noon.
The next meeting is on 2nd November 2004.
Youth Cells
Fellowship, Fun and Opportunity to grow
in Christ.
